The Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies is looking for a capable, self-motivated and good team member to provide general administrative support to the Academy. Key duties include to:
Duties
- Assist in coordinating office operations and maintaining daily workflow, such as ordering office supplies, furniture and equipment; maintaining inventory records; equipment maintenance; sending defect reports; and updating mailing lists;
- Handle procurement, payment, and reimbursement matters; liaison with vendors on quotation and goods delivery;
- Handle room allocations for faculty and students; assist in move-in and move-out arrangement; and coordinate renovation and minor works;
- Provide front desk reception services and general administrative support; liaise with internal and external parties and handle enquiries;
- Oversee office email accounts, ensuring timely responses and appropriate management of communications;
- Support meeting arrangements, events and student activities;
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of work experience, or an associate degree/diploma with substantial relevant work experience. Experience in tertiary institutions or public organizations is preferred, but not mandatory.
The ideal candidate should have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel; good organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently; ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, with positive and proactive attitude; good communication and interpersonal skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
