Pasadena City College is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our Facilities Services team as a Custodian.

About the Position

Under supervision of a position designated as management by the Board of Trustees, performs routine cleaning work and movement of furniture and equipment in campus buildings; performs occasional uncomplicated maintenance tasks; performs related duties as required.

Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday: 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Friday: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (+8% graveyard shift premium added to base pay)

Pay: $4,148.99 - $4,574.29 monthly

Typical Duties Include:

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors
• Clean and restock restrooms
• Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles
• Wash windows, walls, and glass surfaces
• Assist with setup and takedown of furniture for events
• Identify and report maintenance issues or safety hazards

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• At least one year of verifiable, successful custodial experience
• Ability to work with cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform manual labor
