The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Cincinnati (UC) is searching for two (2) academic Cytopathologist/Surgical Pathologists. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience.

Essential Functions

• Teach Pathology residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Participate in translational research.
• Support expanding Cytology and Surgical Pathology services.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Must have all the following prior to effective date of appointment:

• Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent).
• Completion of a three-year Anatomic Pathology or four-year Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency program.
• Board-certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Completion of 12-month fellowship training or at least 12 months experience in Cytopathology.
• Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.

Additional Qualifications Considered

Training or experience in Gastrointestinal Pathology or Molecular pathology is ideal.
