Earth Science Lecturer (9M)
Job Details
The Lima campus of The Ohio State University seeks a 9M lecturer to teach earth sciences courses during 2026-2027. The lecturer will teach one lecture course and one lab course Autumn Semester 2026 and one lecture course Spring Semester 2027. The successful candidates will have a strong commitment to the teaching mission of The Ohio State University and experience teaching lecture and lab courses.
Courses:
Autumn Semester: EARTHSCI 1105 (Geology of the National Parks), EARTHSCI 1200 (Introductory Earth Science Lab)
Spring Semester: EARTHSCI 2205 (The Planets)
Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in relevant field of study
- Evidence of expertise in effective teaching at the undergraduate level
- 5+ year(s) teaching experience at the college level, prior experience developing courses
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience teaching within The Ohio State University, land-grant university, and/or regional campuses
This position is located at the Lima campus in Lima, Ohio.
