Salary: $1,000-1,250 monthly based on completed credit hours
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Geology; Working on master’s degree in Geology.
Preferred: Complete tasks with minimal supervision. Learn new skills as necessary. Comfortably with using Microsoft Office software. Have excellent communication skills, attention to details, and be solution oriented. Have a positive professional manner. Uphold FERPA and other confidential matters. Ability to work 20 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities: Teach laboratories for Geology courses. Hold office hours, prep labs, teach undergraduate sections of labs, administer lab practicals, and evaluate student outcomes on labs and practicals. Coordinate with a faculty mentor who will guide and direct lab activities. Drive university vehicles on field trips. Monitor the safety of others and practice personal safety; exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
