Job Duties
Incumbents perform janitorial, custodial, housekeeping and mechanical tasks; perform various manual tasks required for the routine maintenance of campus buildings and grounds. Performs routine manual tasks involved in the maintenance, repair or beautification of campus grounds or roads... Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to understand and apply the laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, specifications, standards, and guidelines governing assigned unit activities
- Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with others
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to move heavy objects; ability to climb and work on ladders or scaffolds
- Physical stamina and endurance; Manual dexterity; Mechanical aptitude
*A physical examination (at the College’s expense) will be required of the candidate who is offered employment.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma; Cleaning experience; Ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body.
