Postdoctoral Research Fellow
About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a visionary and inquisitive Postdoctoral Research Fellow to advance cutting-edge research in cellular and antibody-based immunotherapies within a highly collaborative and translational research environment. Working alongside leading researchers in CAR-NK and CAR-T cell engineering and antibody immunotherapy, you will contribute to ambitious cancer research programs with real-world impact, while building your independent research profile in a supportive, purpose-driven team aligned with UQ’s commitment to creating change together.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Research: Produce high-quality research outputs through publication in reputable outlets; contribute to competitive research funding applications; collaborate on interdisciplinary projects; and support translation and commercialisation of research outcomes.
- Supervision and Researcher Development: Contribute to supervision of Honours, Masters and/or HDR students; support researcher development through feedback and mentoring; and, where appropriate, assist with managing research support staff.
- Citizenship and Service: Contribute to internal service roles and committees; and begin developing external partnerships with industry, government and the wider community.
