SHORT-TERM, TEMPORARY STAFF POOL

This recruitment is being conducted to fill temporary assignments. Applications for Short-Term, Temporary Staff pools are continually accepted (unless otherwise specified) by the District and will be added to the application pool for review by hiring authorities on an as-needed basis.

Assignment

This is a temporary, hourly position, with possible assignments located at either WVMCCD campus: Mission College, Santa Clara, CA or West Valley College, Saratoga, CA. Generally, most assignments are Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. Hours may vary depending on departmental needs.

Salary and Benefits

$50.63 hourly. Due to the temporary nature of this position, benefits are not included.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Two years of responsible experience related to specific program area.
Education: Equivalent to an Associate’s degree from an accredited college with major coursework in a field related to area of assignment.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to: Plan, coordinate and schedule program-related services, activities, events, and meetings; prepare and proofread materials; provide information and assistance to students and staff; serve as initial point of contact; communicate with instructors and vendors; create marketing materials; recruit and supervise student workers; monitor data and prepare reports; evaluate student applications; maintain facilities; and perform related duties.
