Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drive tractor when needed
- Assist technician and graduate students with data collection and analysis.
- Collect images, label images, and process images.
- Assist technician with shop and field work
Percentage of time: 100
Classification Title: Student Assistant
FLSA: Non-Exempt
FTE: 0.50
Position Summary: This position includes field, shop, and office work. Field work will consist of tractor driving and data collection. Shop work will consist of metal working, wood, and metal fabrication, and 3-D printing components. Office work will include data analysis, image labeling, and image processing. Job schedule may include days of more than 8 hours of work.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position: High school diploma preferred
Physical Demands: Work outdoors for extended periods of time. Driving
