Teaching Consultant in the Department of English (Appointment for 10 months) [Ref. T/112/26]
The Department of English is seeking a teaching consultant in literary studies for the 2026-27 academic year.
Duties
The candidate will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in literary and cultural studies and supervise student projects. The candidate will also support large-class teaching, such as course material development, course administration and marking student assignments, as well as other administrative duties assigned by the department.
Requirements
A PhD degree in Literature/Comparative Literature, or English Studies. The candidate is expected to have excellent command of English, and good interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate is expected to work independently as well as in a team. Knowledge of Learning Management System such as Canvas is preferred.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
