Temporary Field/Greenhouse Assistant
Position Summary: To assist in field preparation, maintenance, mowing, and greenhouse management of turfgrass research areas.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain turfgrass plots. (50%)
- Assist in greenhouse operations. (50%)
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position: High School Graduate. Some experience in performing heavy manual labor.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies: Some experience in field work, such as mowers, plots etc.
Physical Demands: Able to work outdoors in heat and lift up to 50 pounds.
