Job Description:
Position Summary:
Conduct four sessions of 9th grade ELA class
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver classroom lessons in line with common core leaning standards and grade level curriculum
- Supervise morning homeroom and afternoon activity period
- Assist with lunch room supervision in college cafeteria
- May perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- New York State Teacher Certification, required
- Teaching experience in Utica City School District, preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
Supervisory Responsibility:
Teacher Assistant
