Ahmad Abuhelwa is an Associate Professor in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Sharjah, where he serves in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacotherapeutics. His official specialization is Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Jordan, awarded in 2009. He subsequently earned a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy, with a focus on Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutics and Translational Therapeutics, from the University of Iowa in 2011. Abuhelwa completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacometrics at the University of South Australia between 2014 and 2017.
Prior to his current appointment, he held positions including Research Fellow in the Precision Medicine Group at Flinders University.
