Rate My Professor Ajil Kottayil

Dr. Ajil Kottayil is a Scientist at the Advanced Centre for Atmospheric Radar Research (ACARR) at Cochin University of Science and Technology. He holds a postgraduate degree in Physics and earned his PhD and Licentiate in Engineering from Luleå University of Technology in Kiruna, Sweden, with his doctoral work completed in 2013.

Dr. Kottayil joined ACARR in May 2015 and was appointed Scientist-C in December 2019. His research focuses on atmospheric remote sensing and satellite meteorology. He has received recognition including the best paper award in the scientist delegate category at the 37th Kerala Science Congress and secured research funding of Rs 76 lakh.
