Andrew Yockey is a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Public Health in the Department of Public Health at the University of Mississippi. He has extensive experience in quantitative methods, survey data analysis, missing data, epidemiology, and multilevel modeling. His research focuses on substance use prevention, adolescent health, health disparities, psychiatric epidemiology, and LGBT+ health.
Yockey serves as the Statistical and Methods Editor for the Journal of Medicine Surgery and Public Health and sits on the editorial boards of Scientific Reports and Prevention Science. He has contributed to collaborative research projects, including a PCORI-funded study on trustworthiness in university-community research partnerships aimed at improving health care research and delivery. His work addresses topics such as trust in research among minoritized communities and links between teen depression and substance use.
