Rate My Professor Anna Marie Brennan

Dr Anna Marie Brennan holds BCLGA (Hons), LL.B. (Hons), LL.M. (First Class Honours), and PhD degrees. She is a Senior Lecturer (Above the Bar) in Law at the University of Waikato in Te Piringa Faculty of Law. In 2023 she served as Acting Dean of Te Piringa Faculty of Law from 1 January to 31 August.

Dr Brennan’s research spans international criminal law, international humanitarian law, counter-terrorism, and outer space law. In 2024 she received the Borrin Foundation Women Leaders in Law Fellowship. She has also been awarded a Travel and Learning Award by the Borrin Foundation. Her publications include articles and a monograph on topics within her research areas. She contributes to public discussion on issues such as the regulation of outer space activities.
