Rate My Professor Arpan Bhardwaj

Professor Arpan Bhardwaj serves as Vice-Chancellor of Vikram University in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. He was appointed to this position in October 2024. Prior to his appointment as Vice-Chancellor, he held the position of Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Government Madhav Science PG College in Ujjain, where he also served as Incharge Principal. He earned his Ph.D. in 2002 from the School of Studies in Chemistry at Vikram University, Ujjain.

His academic work centers on chemistry, with contributions including journal articles on topics such as the synthesis and characterization of metal complexes, nanoparticles, and their applications in antimicrobial, photocatalytic, and other areas. He has guided multiple doctoral theses on related subjects in coordination chemistry and materials. Professor Bhardwaj has received honors including the Singhsth Seva award from the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh in 2016 and the Laxman Singh Gaud award from Madhya Pradesh higher education in 2012. He maintains an active role in university administration, including as Chairman of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell at Vikram University.
