Rate My Professor Ayumi Yoshizaki

Ayumi Yoshizaki was affiliated with the Department of Dermatology at the Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo, where she served as a lecturer, independent researcher, and later as Project Associate Professor. Her work centered on dermatological autoimmune diseases, with a particular emphasis on systemic sclerosis. She held an MD and PhD and led her own research group focused on the role of auto-reactive B cells in systemic sclerosis using single-cell techniques. Yoshizaki received the LEO Foundation Gold Award in 2016 as a young scientist in Japan, in recognition of her contributions to dermatological research. She has authored numerous publications on topics including the impact of guselkumab on systemic sclerosis cases, the role of B cells in the disease, and related clinical studies. Her research was acknowledged within Japanese dermatological and scientific communities.
