Professor Benoît Majerus is Full Professor and Chief Scientist 1 in European history, Social history, History from below 20th century at the University of Luxembourg. He is affiliated with the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH) in the Department of Contemporary European History. His research topics include World War One, World War Two, the history of psychiatry, and the history of tax havens. He earned his PhD in 2004 from the Université libre de Bruxelles on the occupation of Belgium during the World Wars.
