Carson Reeling is an associate professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Purdue University, where he also serves as graduate program chair. He earned his Ph.D. in agricultural, food, and resource economics from Michigan State University with a specialization in environmental science and policy and a field in environmental and resource economics. He previously received an M.S. in agricultural economics from Purdue University in the same field and a B.A. in economics and Spanish from the University of San Diego.
Reeling’s research focuses on environmental and resource economics, with interests in environmental markets, water, greenhouse gases, and wildlife management. His work examines topics such as the economics of wildlife viewing and related policy issues. In addition to his faculty role at Purdue, he contributes to graduate education in agricultural economics through his position as graduate program chair.
