Chris Hedges is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland. He completed a Bachelor of Science with first class honours at the University of Auckland. He holds a Ph.D. and his current research focuses on cellular energy metabolism, including projects investigating the role of insulin signalling in health and disease processes, mitochondrial biology, signal transduction, metabolism, and intracellular signalling. His work also encompasses exercise physiology and the regulation of muscle adaptation.
