Rate My Professor Dane McCamey

Professor Dane McCamey is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) at UNSW Sydney and holds the position of Professor of experimental condensed matter physics. His research focuses on the impact of spin on the electronic properties of materials and devices for solar energy generation and quantum enabled electronics. He also applies advanced spin resonance techniques to problems in biology and chemistry. Professor McCamey serves as a Chief Investigator and Research Platform Leader in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Exciton Science. He leads the UNSW Pulsed Electron Spin Resonance Facility and supervises research projects in areas including the development of advanced spin resonance techniques, spins in organic semiconductors, room temperature quantum systems, advanced spectroscopy of solar materials, and the application of spin control techniques in other fields.
