Rate My Professor Daria Andreeva-Baeumler

Daria Andreeva-Baeumler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore. She also serves as Deputy Director (Academic Matters) at the Institute for Functional Intelligent Materials at NUS. She received her PhD in Chemistry and Physics of Polymers from the Institute of Macromolecular Compounds in Saint Petersburg. Following her doctorate, she joined the Max Planck Institute. She has authored over 180 research papers, including publications in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, and Advanced Materials.

Her research centers on stimuli-responsive materials, membranes, polyelectrolytes, and graphene, with a focus on smart membranes and biointerfaces involving functional and stimuli-responsive materials.
