Rate My Professor Darshana Sedera

Professor Darshana Sedera holds a PhD from Queensland University of Technology. He serves as Associate Dean (International & Engagement) in the Faculty of Business, Law and Arts at Southern Cross University, based at the Gold Coast campus. His academic work spans the disciplines of Information Systems, Innovation, Business Intelligence, Social Media and Enterprise Systems. Prior to his current role, Professor Sedera held positions including Professoriate staff at Swinburne University of Technology and roles at Monash University and Queensland University of Technology.

Professor Sedera has produced over 200 peer-reviewed publications, including 27 papers accepted to the International Conference on Information Systems. He has secured numerous research grants, such as ARC Discovery and ARC Linkage grants, and maintains collaborations with over 50 leading international researchers. He chairs the Special Interest Group for Enterprise Systems and organises monthly executive seminar series and Entrepreneurship circles. His contributions extend to supervision of higher degree research students and engagement in international partnerships and programs at Southern Cross University.
