Rate My Professor Devarshi Gajjar

Devarshi Gajjar is a Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology Centre in the Faculty of Science at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He also serves as Coordinator of the Biotechnology Program. Gajjar earned his Ph.D. from Sardar Patel University in Gujarat in 2003 and completed post graduate studies at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.

His work centers on microbiology, with research interests including antimicrobial resistance and bacterial genomics. Gajjar leads the DGL lab and has authored dozens of publications that have received hundreds of citations on academic platforms. He contributes to departmental leadership, program coordination, and university teaching and research initiatives in the Faculty of Science.
