Felipe Proença de Albuquerque is a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. He earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Energy and Electrical Automation from the Universidade de São Paulo in 2019. He subsequently completed a master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2021 and a doctorate in Electrical Engineering in 2024, both from the Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo.
His academic work centers on electrical power systems, including transmission of electrical energy, modeling and simulation of electrical systems, stochastic processes, electromagnetic transients, power system equipment, state and parameter estimation, and signal processing for identification and information extraction in electrical systems. He teaches undergraduate laboratory courses such as Laboratório de Circuitos Elétricos I at UFMT. Publications and collaborations include contributions to research on power transmission lines, transformer modeling, and related topics in electrical engineering.
