Rate My Professor Florent Montaclair

Florent Montaclair was employed at the Université de Franche-Comté, later known as Université Marie et Louis Pasteur (UMLP), in the teacher training institute (INSPE, formerly IUFM) in the Besançon area. He held positions including as adjoint director at the IUFM in Belfort. He obtained a DEA in 1993 and a doctorate in comparative literature in 1995 from Université Paris IV-Sorbonne. In 2022, he obtained the agrégation de lettres modernes on the liste d’aptitude.

He participated in institute meetings and delivered lectures, such as one on the vampire myth from 16th-century scientific treatises to Romantic literature. In 2026, following an investigation into the creation of a fictitious award, he was suspended and excluded from the university and higher education teaching.
