Guilherme Henrique Pereira-Filho is an associate professor in the Departamento de Ciências do Mar at the Instituto do Mar (IMar) of Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). He earned a bachelor's degree in Ciências Biológicas from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo in 2004 and a doctorate in Botânica from Universidade de São Paulo in 2008. Since 2013, he has held the position of professor adjunto at UNIFESP, where he leads the Laboratório de Ecologia e Conservação Marinha (LABECMar). His research focuses on the ecology of benthic marine communities in reef environments.
