Rate My Professor Hyungwon Choi

Associate Professor Hyungwon Choi serves in the Department of Medicine at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He holds the positions of Programme Leader of SLING and Chair of the Cardiovascular-Metabolic Diseases Translational Research Programme. His research centers on systems biology, computational modeling, bioinformatics, and the application of omics technologies to cardiometabolic diseases.

Choi earned a PhD from the University of Michigan in 2004, a master’s degree from Stanford University in 2001, and completed earlier studies at Seoul National University. He is Associate Professor at NUS and assumed the role of CVMD TRP Programme Director in January 2025.
