Rate My Professor Jingzhun Liu

Jingzhun Liu is a Research Fellow in the Department of Physics at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and is affiliated with the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI). He completed his PhD at NUS, with the oral examination held in October 2023 under the supervision of Professor Jie Yan.

His research focuses on mechanobiology, particularly the biophysical principles of cell mechanosensing, force-transmission linkages, tension gauge tethers, and related mechanisms in cellular systems. Liu has contributed to publications on topics such as the dual-stretch-mode impact on tension gauge tethers and decoding force-transmission linkages for therapeutic targeting. He is based at Level 10 T-Lab, National University of Singapore.
