Jun Zhou is a Professor in the School of Information and Communication Technology at Griffith University, where he also serves as Deputy Head of School (Research). He joined Griffith University in 2012 and was appointed Professor in 2023. His previous appointments include Research Fellow in the Research School of Computer Science at the Australian National University, Researcher in the NICTA Canberra research lab, Visiting Scientist at CSIRO Mathematics, Informatics and Statistics, and Conjoint Lecturer in the School of Engineering and Information Technology at the University of New South Wales.
Jun Zhou holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, Canada (2002–2006), a Master of Science in Computer Science from Concordia University, Canada (1999–2002), a Bachelor of Engineering from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China (1996–1998), and a Bachelor of Science from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China (1992–1996). He maintains an active research profile in computer science with links to his Google Scholar and DBLP pages available on his university profile.
