Associate Professor Justin Chu Jang Hann serves in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). He holds the additional appointment of Assistant Dean (Academic Affairs) at the school. He earned a BSc (Hons) and a PhD in Virology from NUS in 2005. His research centers on molecular RNA virology and antiviral strategies, particularly involving clinically significant RNA viruses including dengue virus, enterovirus-71, and chikungunya virus. He maintains a joint appointment as Senior Principal Investigator at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR, and is affiliated with the Infectious Diseases Translational Research Programme at NUS.
