About Kamran

Kamran Shamsa serves as HS Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, within the Division of Cardiology. He received his MD degree from the UC San Diego School of Medicine in 2004. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine in 2005 and 2008, respectively, followed by a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at UCLA School of Medicine in 2011. He holds board certifications in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease from the American Board of Internal Medicine, Echocardiography from the American Society of Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology from the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

Shamsa has authored or co-authored numerous publications in cardiology and related fields.
