Karima Kadaoui is a PhD student in natural language processing at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI). She earned a master’s degree in machine learning from MBZUAI as part of the university’s inaugural Class of 2022 and transitioned to the role of research assistant. Her research focuses on impaired speech recognition, natural language processing tasks for the Arabic language and its dialects in both text and speech modalities, low-resource languages, and commonsense reasoning in Arab culture.
