Professor Kee Chaing Chua is the President of the Singapore Institute of Technology. He joined SIT in September 2019 as Deputy President (Academic) and Provost and was appointed President in 2021. Prior to joining SIT, he served for over 30 years at the National University of Singapore, where he was Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. He previously headed the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NUS from 2009 to 2014.
Professor Chua is an electrical engineering professor with expertise in communication networks, including wireless, underwater, and optical networks. His academic career at NUS included leadership roles in engineering education and research. He holds an executive education credential from Harvard Business School.
