About Kenneth

Kenneth Goh is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship (Education) at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. He serves as Academic Director of the Business Families Institute and as Course Coordinator and Academic Advisor for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Major. His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Theory from Carnegie Mellon University’s Tepper School of Business, an M.Ed. in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education, and a B.Sc. in Economics with dual concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Prior to joining SMU, he was an Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario.

Professor Goh’s research focuses on innovation, team processes and dynamics, and organizational routines. His selected publications include “Path nets: Concurrence and recurrence in the dynamics of organizing” (Academy of Management Review, 2025), “The Inclusive Organizing Playbook” (2023), and “From Actions to Paths to Patterning: Toward a Dynamic Theory of Patterning in Routines” (Academy of Management Journal, 2019). He has received awards such as the Emerald Literati Outstanding Paper Award (2023), multiple teaching honors from SMU, and the Best Article Award from Small Group Research (2013). He contributes to professional service through roles on the editorial board of Small Group Research, as a judge for the Singapore Business Awards and EY-Bank of Singapore Family Enterprise Award of Excellence, and as a member of the Ministry of Education Commerce Curriculum Review Committee. He is also President of Singapore Aquatics.
