Laura Luciano Scaciota is a nutritionist and researcher affiliated with the Universidade de São Paulo. She earned her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from the Universidade de São Paulo in 2021 and completed a Master's degree in Nutrition in Public Health from the Faculdade de Saúde Pública at the same institution in 2024.
Her research focuses on the food environment, regulatory measures, and the consumption of ultra-processed foods, with publications including work on the NOVA food classification system, a guide for promoting healthy food environments, and analyses of ultra-processed food consumption among adolescents and adults in Brazilian contexts. She serves as a research assistant at NUPENS USP and is affiliated with the Departamento de Medicina Preventiva at the Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de São Paulo.
