Professor Luis Esteban Oxman serves as an Associate Professor at the Instituto de Física of Universidade Federal Fluminense. He earned a master's degree in Physics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 1989 and a doctorate in Physics from the same university in 1993.
Oxman's research centers on the general theory of particles and fields, with particular emphasis on duality and non-perturbative phases. He has investigated topics including the confinement problem in QCD. He holds a CNPq research productivity scholarship and maintains an active publication record in theoretical physics.
