Luzhao Feng, MD, PhD, is a Professor and Deputy Dean of the School of Population Medicine and Public Health at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. His work centers on the epidemiology and control of respiratory infectious diseases, including influenza and interactions with other pathogens such as SARS-CoV-2. He has contributed to research on vaccine effectiveness, including studies examining the protection provided by influenza vaccines against acute cardiovascular events and factors influencing vaccination uptake among older adults in China.
Feng has held leadership roles in infectious disease surveillance and public health initiatives, including prior service as Chief of the Branch of Respiratory Infectious Diseases at the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. He participates in collaborative projects on vaccination policy, pathogen surveillance, and public health emergency response.
