About Lynelle

Lynelle Yutani is an instructor in Allied Health and Technologies within the School of Health and Human Services at Camosun College. She joined the college in early 2012 to teach courses in the Medical Radiography Program, including radiographic procedures, image critique, and pathology. She is also qualified to teach in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography and Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant programs. Yutani chaired the Allied Health & Technologies Department from 2014 to 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a master’s in Radiologic Sciences from Weber State University, along with two advanced imaging baccalaureate degrees and multiple certifications including RT (NM)(CT)(M). With over 16 years of clinical practice in the United States and Canada, her background includes work as a Radiology Practitioner Assistant.

Since September 2021, Yutani has served as President of the Camosun College Faculty Association, a role to which she was re-elected. Her prior professional experience includes a career in software design and technical support following studies in theater and business management. Yutani has contributed to interdisciplinary applied-learning initiatives at the college, including the annual Interdisciplinary Student Festival.
