Mark Diotte serves as an instructor in the English department within the Faculty of Academic and Career Advancement at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. He earned a B.A., M.A., and P.D.P. from Simon Fraser University and a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2012. His doctoral dissertation examined labour and literature in British Columbia novels from 1900 to 1940. Diotte maintains professional interests in grammar and language learning as well as the literature of British Columbia. He has held the position of President of the Kwantlen Faculty Association.
