About Minh-Quyet

Minh-Quyet Ha is a postdoctoral researcher in the Dam Laboratory at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST). He earned his PhD from JAIST in 2023 with a thesis titled “An evidence-based framework to reveal uncertainties for decision support in materials discovery,” supervised by Professor Hieu-Chi Dam in the Graduate School of Advanced Science and Technology.

Dr. Ha’s work centers on knowledge science, data science, machine learning, and materials informatics. He has contributed to research on evidence-based recommender systems for high-entropy alloys and frameworks that integrate data with AI-extracted knowledge from scientific literature to support materials discovery. Key publications include the 2021 paper “Evidence-based recommender system for high-entropy alloys” in Nature Computational Science and the 2025 paper “Beyond interpolation: integration of data and AI-extracted knowledge for high-entropy alloy discovery” in Digital Discovery. His research supports decision-making in materials science through uncertainty quantification and cross-disciplinary data integration.
