Dr. Mohammad Fteiha is an Associate Professor of Special Education at Abu Dhabi University. He joined the university in 2012 as Associate Professor of Special Education and Chair of the Education Department in the College of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Fteiha holds a PhD in Special Education from Amman Arab University for Graduate Studies in Jordan, awarded in 2010, and an MA in Speech and Language Pathology and Communication Disorders from the University of Jordan.
His research focuses on special education, assistive technology, inclusive education, and early intervention, with particular specialization in autism. He serves as Director of the Al Ain Campus and Director of the Center for Faculty Development and Learning Innovation at Abu Dhabi University. Dr. Fteiha is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (PFHEA). He received the Abu Dhabi University Teaching Award in 2012 and the Khalifa Award for Education in 2012. Dr. Fteiha has contributed to academic conferences and holds certifications as an ADOS Examiner and PROMPT therapist.
