Rate My Professor Nathan Cofnas

Nathan Cofnas is a postdoc in the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences at Ghent University. He previously served as a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge from 2022 to 2025. His academic background includes a DPhil in Philosophy from the University of Oxford, an MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge, studies at Lingnan University, and a BA in Philosophy from Columbia University.

He works in the philosophy of biology, broadly construed, and ethics, with interests at their intersection and in scientific and ethical controversies connected with evolution-informed social science.
