Dr. Naveen Nandwana serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Hindi at Mohanlal Sukhadia University in Udaipur, Rajasthan. He holds qualifications including an M.A. in Hindi and History, a Ph.D., SLET, B.Ed., and B.J.M.C. With 16 years of teaching experience at the graduate, postgraduate, and M.Phil. levels, Dr. Nandwana specializes in research areas encompassing Medieval and Modern Poetry, Bhakti Literature, and Tribal Literature. He has authored 19 books and published 125 research papers and popular articles focused on topics such as the Bhakti Movement, modern poetry, tribal literature, and Hindi novels. His completed research includes work on the literature of Dr. Dharamveer Bharti and a UGC Minor Research Project on ‘Sant Dadudayal: Life and Literature’. He is currently engaged in a RUSA-funded project examining ‘Change in Tribal Society and the Contemporary Hindi Novel’. Under his supervision, 10 Ph.D. scholars and 5 M.Phil. students have completed their degrees, with 7 Ph.D. scholars currently ongoing. Dr. Nandwana has also held administrative roles, including appointment as Coordinator of the Competitive Examination Cell at the university and service as Assistant Editor and member of an editorial board.
