Dr. Nazar Ali is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Khalifa University in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He received his BSc degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Mosul, Iraq, in 1984 and his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bradford, UK, in 1990. From 1990 to 2000, he held positions including post-doctorate researcher and lecturer at the University of Bradford. He has authored or co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed international journal and conference publications and has supervised numerous MSc and PhD students. His research interests include antennas, high-efficiency power amplifiers, RF circuits and systems, indoor localization techniques, and applications of artificial intelligence in these areas. Dr. Ali is a senior member of the IEEE and a chartered engineer.
