Neil Garrett completed his PhD in Experimental Psychology at University College London, where he was affiliated with the Affective Brain Lab. His research has focused on decision making, behavioural economics, and reinforcement learning, including studies on how repeated dishonesty can desensitise the brain to negative emotions associated with lying.
He has held positions including Sir Henry Wellcome Research Fellow at institutions such as the University of Oxford and Princeton University. Garrett has contributed to publications in these areas and has guest lectured on decision-making topics.
