Nicholas Winterle Daudt is a researcher in the Department of Marine Science at the University of Otago. He completed a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Otago with a thesis titled Spatiotemporal patterns and drivers of seabird assemblages in Australasia. His work focuses on biological oceanography, quantitative ecology, community ecology and marine megafauna, with particular emphasis on seabird distribution patterns and assemblages in regions including the Subtropical Frontal Zone and areas off New Zealand and Australia.
