Dr Nosiphiwo Delubom serves as Deputy Director and Head of Department of Universal Accessibility and Disability Services at Nelson Mandela University, a position she has held since April 2018. She earned her PhD in Inclusive Education from Walter Sisulu University. Her work centres on advancing universal access and support for students with disabilities in higher education settings.
Dr Delubom has contributed to research on inclusive education implementation. She co-authored publications including work on managers’ strategies for inclusive implementation in technical vocational education and training colleges in South Africa and managers’ challenges on implementing inclusive education. In 2023 she was elected Chairperson of the Higher Education Disability Services Association (HEDSA), serving until 2027. She was also elected Chairperson of the Ikhala TVET College Council for a three-year term beginning in 2024.
