Associate Professor Polly Atatoa Carr is based at Te Ngira Institute for Population Research at the University of Waikato. Her research and clinical practice focuses on the broader determinants of population health and wellbeing equity. She is a public health physician specialising in paediatrics at Te Whatu Ora Waikato. She holds the degrees of MBChB, MSc and MPH from the University of Auckland. She serves as Theme Convenor at the institute.
Her work centres on health equity, wellbeing, population child health and social justice.
